SMS program

Pager is a self-hosted notification platform operated by LUNARSOFT, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. It sends operational notifications and one-time verification codes on behalf of the operator to people who have asked to receive them.

What we send

  • Account and service notifications — alerts about service status, incidents and scheduled maintenance.
  • One-time verification codes — short-lived codes used to confirm identity or authorise a sign-in.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not send messages about loans, credit repair, cannabis, firearms or gambling.

How recipients opt in

Consent is obtained before a number is added. Anyone can sign themselves up on our text message sign-up form, which records the exact wording they agreed to. Consent collected elsewhere — through the operator's own sign-up or onboarding flow, or another channel where the person agrees to receive these messages — is recorded against the number through the platform's API.

A recipient who has previously opted out can opt back in themselves by texting START to one of our numbers. Opting out cannot be reversed from the sign-up form: only the handset can undo a STOP.

For each number we hold a consent record containing:

  • the number itself, in E.164 form;
  • whether it is opted in or opted out;
  • how the record was created — from this site's sign-up form, through the API, or from a keyword the recipient texted us;
  • the date and time it was recorded, and when it last changed;
  • the exact wording the person agreed to, and the IP address the agreement came from — observed by us for a sign-up on this site, and as supplied by the operator for consent collected elsewhere.

Numbers are never purchased, rented, imported from third-party lists or added without consent.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message. These words are also honoured: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, OPT-OUT and REVOKE.

Opt-outs are processed automatically and immediately, are permanent until the recipient opts back in, and apply across every number the platform sends from — not just the number that was replied to. To resume messages, reply START, UNSTOP, YES, SUBSCRIBE, OPTIN or OPT-IN.

Message frequency, rates and privacy

Message frequency varies and depends on the alerts and verification requests you have asked for. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or consent records with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with the telecommunications providers needed to deliver the message.

Sample messages

  • Lunarsoft: your verification code is 481920. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
  • Lunarsoft alert: service api-gateway returned to healthy at 14:22 UTC. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help.
  • Lunarsoft: scheduled maintenance begins at 02:00 UTC and is expected to last 30 minutes. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
